Dr. Kathleen Childs, Psy.D., ABPP is a licensed psychologist and board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with nearly a decade of experience providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations in medical center settings across Pennsylvania and New York. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at Marywood University and went on to complete her pre-doctoral training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City where she worked in rehabilitation neuropsychology providing both evaluative and therapeutic services. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania where she received additional specialized training in the evaluation of neurological and neurodegenerative conditions, pre- and post-surgical assessment, and diagnostic testing in medically complex populations.
Prior to founding Precision Neuropsychology Services, Dr. Childs worked as an attending neuropsychologist at St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem and Geisinger's Memory and Cognition Clinic in Wilkes-Barre, where she provided comprehensive evaluation to diagnostically diverse populations and served as training faculty for the next generation of neuropsychologists.

A Note on My Approach
I founded Precision Neuropsychology Services because I believe that a neuropsychological evaluation should be more than a set of scores on a page.
In my years of practice, I have come to understand that what makes neuropsychological assessment truly meaningful is the opportunity it provides to capture someone's story — their lived experience, the history that brought them to this moment, and the full context of who they are as a person. Healthcare so often centers on identifying problems in isolation, but the story behind those problems can offer profound insight into the nuances of what is actually going on. I take that seriously.
At Precision Neuropsychology Services, I prioritize goodness of fit over volume. I am not interested in seeing as many patients as possible — I am interested in doing this work well, for the right patients, with the time and care it deserves. Every evaluation I conduct is comprehensive by design, individualized in its approach, and grounded in the belief that the people who come to me — and the providers who refer them — deserve nothing less.
